Feeling fancy and in the mood for some high tea? Head to one of Singapore’s many outstanding spots where you can get a taste of the royal life without burning a hole in your pocket.  

From high tea options with amazing views, to delectable local Peranakan favourites, our list of 9 high tea spots in Singapore has something for everybody.

 1. Atlas

Indulge in leisurely high tea at Atlas where the grand art deco interior of Parkview Square adds to the ambience as you get to savour the delectable European style selection of sweet and savoury items. 

Each dish has been carefully crafted by Executive Chef, Lachlan ‘Lokiʼ Lynch. 

You can settle in for a high tea spread of two selections: Atlas and the Prestige. Delectable savouries include lobster crostini, truffled egg brioche and pumpkin quiche with cream cheese. To tingle your sweet buds, you have lemon meringue tart, and banana cream pie among other dishes.

  • Prestige Selection $60++/person

Timing: Monday to Friday: 3 pm to 4 pm & Saturday: 1 pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm

Note: Each component of the Atlas high tea is hand made to order. So you will need to make the reservation with at least 24 hours’ notice.

2. 10 Scotts

Can you ever say ‘No’ to a high tea experience that comes with a cascading waterfall view? Perhaps not.

Not only does this place come with a magnificent view, it is also ideal for all the cosy get-togethers. Scotts also takes the luxurious high tea experience a notch higher with a four-course menu. 

You will be spoilt for choice with their specialities including Yarra Valley salmon caviar and chilled gazpacho. For the mains, you can choose between baked eggplant parmigiana and poached sustainable barramundi. To end on a sweet note, try the chocolate brownie bits, lemon curd and meringue tart. 

Finally, wash it down with a pot of Gold Moscato Oolong tea or a sip on the coffee!

3. Alley on 25

A high tea experience at Alley on 25 will transport you to the French Riveria.

Savour the sweet and savoury delights like the marinated prawn, lemon lavender tartlet and vanilla scone with rhubarb jam and clotted cream. Also, there are free-flowing beverages like coffee, lemonade, and TWG teas. 

Cost: SGD 48* per person

Timing: Monday to Sunday- 3 pm to 5 pm

4. Grand Lobby

The Grand Lobby at Raffles Hotel Singapore offers three different afternoon tea sets, including Kyoto Afternoon Tea, Sakura Afternoon Tea and Raffles Heritage Evening.

The grandeur of floor-to-ceiling Victorian pillars is an experience you can’t miss. Amid the elegant setting, savour the finger sandwiches, cakes and all the seasonal delicacies. 

All the high tea reservations have to be made and informed at least one day in advance.

Cost:  The Classic Afternoon Tea is priced at $80 per person.

Timing:

Monday to Thursday 1:00 pm to 5.00 pm
Friday to Sunday 12:00pm to 6:00pm

5. One-Ninety Bar

You can pull up a seat at the outdoor area and feast on some great finger sandwiches, an exquisite range of quiches and brioche toast.

For your sweet tooth, you have the acacia honey lemon tea cake or a Manjari Chocolate Cake. Taste the Spiced Persimmon Macaron with Yoghurt Cream for a burst of different flavours inside your mouth!

Timing:  Sat-Sun, 2-5 pm for high tea

6. Atrium

You can avail the Japanese-inspired high tea experience, and enjoy lots of goodies such as Japanese egg sandwiches, earl grey macaron, and chocolate cake.

Be it the Lavazza coffees or the TWG, you also get to complete the meal with two beverages of your choice.

7. Skai

Located on level 70, Skai at Swisshotel offers one of the most lavish high tea experiences in Singapore.

Not only do you get to devour opulent bites filled with truffle and foie grass, but you also get to enjoy the panoramic view of the entire city!

Cost: 68$ per adult

Timing: Sunday to Friday: 3 to 5 pm

8. The Marmalade Pantry

If you want to indulge in a high tea experience in Singapore, head to this quaint cafe that offers affordable options.

The menu has a great mix of sweets and savouries. From the spicy crabmeat with fried mantou, to buttermilk scones with bonbons, you will be spoilt for choices.

Finally, sip on the tea from Monogram or a hot coffee. 

Cost: $54 for two people

Timings: Friday to Sunday: (3 pm to 6 pm)

9. Arteastiq

The signature high tea experience comes with a plethora of dishes to choose from including mochi, truffle shell pasta, New York cheesecake and of course, the teas. 

Cost: The high tea set is priced at ($32 per person and $48 for two). 

On the other hand, the  National Treasure experience is more local and you can try local dishes such as satay chicken with rice cake, otah fries, and baked tapioca Kueh with lychee with your teas. 

Cost: Priced at $39 per person. The cost for two comes at $55.
